2025 China-Denmark Urban Water Supply Energy Conservation Forum
Focusing on Cutting-edge Technologies and Embarking on a New Journey of Efficient and Green Water Supply 15-12-2025
On December 9, the First China-Denmark Forum on Energy-Saving Technologies and Sustainable Development for Urban Water Supply 2025 was successfully held in Shenzhen. With the theme of "Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction, Water Quality Improvement and Sustainable Operation", the forum gathered experts and professionals from the industry to jointly discuss new trends in energy-saving technologies and sustainable development for urban water supply between China and Denmark, helping the urban water supply sector advance steadily into a new stage of efficient operation, green development and intelligent management.
During the forum, Mr. Søren Bindesbøll, Consul General of the Kingdom of Denmark in Guangzhou, noted that on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Denmark, environmental and water resources cooperation is of great significance to both countries. He expressed the hope that the forum would foster new cooperation and encourage more joint practices in the field of environmental protection and energy conservation. Together with Mr. Lai Junxiang, Chairman of Danish Water China Alliance, Mr. Bindesbøll, on behalf of Danish water technology enterprises, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Low-Carbon, Green and Sustainable Development of Urban Water Supply between China and Denmark with Shenzhen Water Group, China Water Supply and Drainage Association, and Guangdong Provincial Water Supply and Drainage Association.
As a member of the Danish Water China Alliance, Mr. Yan Rong, Business Development and Marketing Director of AVK Valves, elaborated on how high-quality intelligent valves, modular design and intelligent pressure management modular design can enhance system safety and energy-saving performance, so as to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction as well as efficient full life cycle management of water supply systems.
