On February 27th, AVK was invited to attend the "Green Bilateral Exchange Event" and the "Nordic Climate Action: China-Nordic Water and Green Transition Seminar" held at the UNIDO Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Accelerator in Hangzhou.

Against the backdrop of pursuing sustainable development, Hefei Zhongxing Water Plant emerged as the times require. It serves not only as a crucial hub for urban water supply but also as a pioneer in green water supply and low-carbon development. As the first water treatment plant in Hefei equipped with a full-process water purification technology integrated with a photovoltaic (PV) power generation system, Zhongxing Water Plant has deeply fused PV energy with its water supply system, achieving efficient energy utilization and harmonious coexistence with the environment.

The "Zhengzhou-Kaifeng Integration" is an important strategy in the Overall Plan for Territorial Space of Zhengzhou City (2020-2035), which aims to promote the integrated development of Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, especially by focusing on the construction of the Zhengzhou-Kaifeng Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, based on the eastern new city of Zhengzhou and the western new district of Kaifeng, and exploring pioneering systems and policies.

To ensure urban water environment safety, an upgrade project was initiated for wastewater treatment plant Zhuyuan No. 2 in Shanghai, China, which now includes penstocks from Orbinox.

On May 16-17, the 2024 Water Supply Conference and the 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Water Safety Joint Innovation Center Forum, jointly hosted by Water & Wastewater Engineering Journal, Guangdong Water Investment Group, South China Institute of Environmental Sciences of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, as well as universities and industry associations across the country and the Greater Bay Area, were held in Nansha, Guangzhou.
