AVK helps HBIS Group to achieve zero discharge of industrial circulating water

In order to greet the XXIV Olympic Winter Games and improve the environmental quality around Beijing and Tianjin city, HBIS Group Co., Ltd ("HBIS") decided to withdraw all its steel capacity from Zhangjiakou area, and implement the project of HBIS industry upgrade and Xuangang capacity transfer in Leting Economic Development Zone of Tangshan City, that required the supporting water system to achieve zero discharge of industrial circulating water.

It is generally known that industrial water project is characterized by complex treatment process with high technology requirements. In the whole water system project, the construction of the water treatment center is a key link. It covers an area of more than 80,000 m2, with the treatment scale of 240,000 m3/h. The construction content includes water supply system, wastewater pretreatment system, desalination system, concentrated brine treatment system and supporting facilities.

AVK provided a wide range of product option and advanced technical support for the water treatment center project, and customized a complete solution for customers to match the various needs of valves in different process sections. That finally secures the whole system operation safe and stable.

Nearly 200 AVK valves are delivered to this project including resilient seat gate valve, metal seat gate valve, double eccentric butterfly valve, eccentric butterfly valve and swing check valve, which are mainly used in wastewater regulating tank, high efficiency sedimentation tank, V filter tank, sludge dewatering room, comprehensive dosing room.
